There's a surprising number of different stages to make these designs, but I love the effect that using the real plants has - you get lovely shadows and depth that I don't think I could replicate in something that was all painted. It's such an intuitive process, I never know exactly how the designs will turn out, other than which animal or bird I'm going to use! And a little bookmark top up too It's always a bit nerve-racking opening up a box from the printers, hoping everything has printed right! Thankfully most of the time they come out even better than I thought they would! My Christmas cards are printed on lovely thick card stock, with a slightly shiny scratch proof coating on the outside, and uncoated inside for smudge proof writing!
