Over the past few weeks I've been starting to shift my mindset in a bit of a different direction, and I'm already starting to feel more inspired! Some of you might have noticed I've been working on some new projects and experimenting a bit more - it feels really nice to leave behind the stress that comes with running a business for a while, and just focus purely on the art making side of things. The shortest day and longest night of the year 🌙✨️ I've been trying to embrace these darker nights a bit more this year, and go into hibernation mode rather than ploughing through it - and it's definitely been more enjoyable! A still and starry night ❄️🤍 Thank you for your s A still and starry night ❄️🤍 Thank you for your suggestions of what I should paint on this little background! There were a few votes for Arctic fox so here he is! Some of the other suggestions were a hare, owl or reindeer - It's been a long time since I painted a reindeer (last winter) and I'm quite fancying having a go at that one too 💙 This snowy scene is in acrylic gouache which I haven't used in forever, really enjoyed having an experiment with different media . . . #gouacheartwork #winterillustration #tinyart #arcticfox
